Description

Enduvo proposes enhancements to the groundbreaking abilities of Immersive Learning Platform (ILP) software, successfully proven in the AF 19.2 SBIR round for a SBIR Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI). Detachment 23 (Det 23) is working to modernize the Department of the Air Force (DAF) classrooms by developing a content delivery system for the Airman Guardian Learning Record (AGLR), modular accessible learning, blended learning, Air Force learning information technology ecosystem, and competency-based learning. One operational concept involves shifting the instructional paradigm from the lecture-based curriculum of the past to a more agile, blended, learning model where the instructor’s operational experience becomes the baseline for teacher wisdom as a student resource. This may be accomplished through the integration of adaptable learning methods and technology to prepare for the next generation of conflict, today.

Score Rationale

The TACFI pathway is a legitimate fast-track instrument and the highest score here, reflecting real acquisition modernization intent. However, the problem framing is weak — terms like 'agile blended learning model' and 'next generation of conflict' are aspirational language without concrete success metrics, data availability, or measurable outcomes defined. AI/ML fit scores lowest because this is fundamentally an edtech platform modernization and content delivery integration project; 'adaptable learning' may imply adaptive algorithms but no genuine AI-shaped problem (perception, NLP, anomaly detection) is articulated, making this closer to IT modernization with AI branding. The ~$1.7M ceiling with a TACFI pathway offers a modest transition signal but no explicit production follow-on is named.
