Description
TeraSense is building Lynx, a robust, microservices based security solution to enable NIST 800-171 compliance and replace the legacy SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC). The SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) is leveraged by Space Systems Command (SSC) security professionals as their primary tool for scanning the SSC environment and identifying vulnerabilities and misconfiguration through established Security Technical Implementation Guideline (STIG) benchmarks. As the SCC becomes a solution unavailable for use by SSC engineers, their security team is left without an important capability which limits their ability to secure the SSC environment. Accordingly, the SSC requires a security solution which conducts risk assessments, identifies and addresses vulnerabilities, and prevents future exposure through proactive hardening. The solution, codenamed Lynx, enables RMF compliance with automated processes in a user-friendly solution.
