Description
The TACFI effort is focused on extending, enhancing and scaling the SBIR Phase II MindGym solution with the overall goals of driving increased user adoption and utilization and therefore greater impact towards achieving the defense-related need of optimizing warfighter performance under high stress situations; in addition to scaling the various technical components of the solution so that it can be mass distributed with the quality and reliability expected. The project involves redesigning MindGym's physical space for improved user experience and mass production, including modular design, sound isolation, and simplified maintenance. It also includes redesigning the chair for enhanced comfort and integrated audio. On the software front, the project transitions from a "Single Tenant" to Cloud-based architecture with components like Lumena Cloud, Synchronizer, and Edge. This entails a full stack replacement, UI/UX conversion, integration with Intheon and Madrix, and expanding database schema for user management and data infrastructure. The software improvements aim at enhancing user experience, providing end-user dashboards, mobile compatibility, and integrating bio sensors and scheduling software. Infrastructure enhancements include development of DevOps CI/CD processes to ensure faster development cycles, code quality, and deployment efficiency. The network and security aspects focus on implementing a secure network, risk assessment, security policies development, and strengthening NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 compliance. Overall, the project aims at a comprehensive expansion, extension and scaling of MindGym's physical, software, technical and network infrastructure to achieve optimal user experience, scalability, and security in delivering impactful results.
